This was not a huge announcement. This was unforgivable and then they did absolutely fcking nothing about it. Except to say 'we don't anticipate it to happen again'. Geez of course 'No not at all', after just having all the jury members meet as the same place to board the same bus to the court house each morning. Yeah, the security/ safety of the jurors is just top notch. The judge also told them that the cops made the person delete the footage and then gave the phone back (never charged him nor bothered to seize the phone to examine whether the footage had been uploaded to the cloud or already synced to another repository). And finally never bothered to sequester the jury , instead lets them all go home for a three day weekend - with the reminder to not watch anything on tv about the trial or talk about it. Pathetic....
