In the good ole days before chimps were allowed to work in medical facilities, The human giving an injection would aspirate the needle to make sure they hadn't stuck the needle in a blood vessel. vaccines are suppose to go into the muscle and be absorbed by the muscle into the blood stream slowly. Chimps stick the needle in your arm. push the plunger and possibly dump the dose in a blood vessel, which can wreak havoc. chimps never pull the plunger back to test if they hit a blood vessel, they can't perform sequential task. always ask the help to aspirate the needle.
