My nephew-in-law is one of them, big badass. He finds out a couple months ago that his department is getting a 12,000 a year raise starting in December. He hasn’t seen a dime yet and is living comfortably. 3 weeks later the governor orders a vaccine mandate. In his workplace his department fell under “healthcare worker” which he’s not but there’s no arguing with the governor.
Three fourths of the department apply for exemptions and they all get them and swap places with vaxxed people from other departments, they train the vaxxed before they move to their new departments with no vax mandate.
This clown caves on day 5 after months of listening to him and what he’d do. Even after the mandate he did the same thing for 4 days then went and got the first jab. I believe he’s gotten the second one by now also. His wife, my niece is pissed.
His excuse was, “Hey, if I left I may not get back in the department again if I leave” even though he’s been there the longest and has the best sales and as soon as this craziness ends they’d put him back in right away. It’s a good company.
He gave up all his convictions and still has to wait until the end of December to see his extra 1,000 before taxes.
I no longer trust him at all, he’s a sell out.

I'm pretty sure my brother got the shots. I haven't asked because it's one of those touchy topics with us. He thinks I'm a hypochondriac after my vax injuries at 17. I'm also a crazy conspiracy theorist. I just hope he doesn't give his kids the shots. My niece stopped talking within hours of her last set of shots and he can't admit anything happened. She's still in speech therapy and it's been a year. The videos make it look like she can't move her mouth properly anymore.
People are easily pushed around. I'm grateful that my partner and my mom are not and we are refusing any and all vaccines. I don't even vaccinate my cats (which was a huge battle when my youngest needed neutering).
I got my pets their first doses and that’s it since we have wildlife around here.

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, their spouses and a few great nieces and nephews. some of my nieces and nephews are my age. I was a late addition to the family.
1, 1 unvaxxed, will never get it, the same as all the other unvaxxed.
6, 1 vaxxed on advice of doctors due to an autoimmune disease and has no regrets. Not sure if they’ll get a booster.
7, 3 vaxxed(this includes the idiot nephew in law with no convictions) the other two took it in the beginning and regret it and won’t get a booster.

The others all regret it, since it was the very beginning with the hype and didn’t realize they weren’t traditional vaccine. No idea why they would trust the government, half the jabbed are conservative and who takes something that was developed in less then a year.

My mom says all of her family got it. Her brother stays far from her when they meet and texts her weekly demanding that she quit being selfish and get it. Her sister got it after pressure from her husband. All my cousins got it, but that is no surprise.
My mom is where I got my stubborn streak from and after what she saw vaccines do to me, she'd never ask anyone to get one, much less demand it. She's sad her family got them but there's nothing you can really do. She will never get it and says she has a spare room for me and my partner if we get fired for refusing.

I think this covid wave will finish up soon, the vax mandates will fail in court but cowards will run to get the vax just in case and then the fda approves the two new antivirals and old joe will declare victory over covid in early spring. Hoping it propels a victory for dens in the mid teens.
They need a win of some kind, they’ve done nothing except destroy and piss people off but I don’t think it will be enough after 2 years of this shit.
And the vax is $100+ per dose. People don’t want a booster. The pills are 3 three times a day plus another antiviral and will be thousands with their false positive tests. I’ll never take them. But pharma can an even bigger killing on the pills then the vax.
