After the FBI video yesterday, the judge should have immediately entered a directed verdict. We know politically they can't do that though.
Seriously. Violating the laws of discovery and the video itself is completely exculpatory. The judge should have charged the entire prosecution with contempt and locked them up until their arraignment for prosecutorial misconduct. And dismissed the case with prejudice.
A judge has the option to set aside a jury verdict if he finds their verdict is inconsistent with the facts.
We'll find out if the judge is a good guy or sold his soul.
