Alec handled multiple guns over his career in multiple movies. How did he get this far without knowing how to load, unload and check the gun. I learned that at age 6 shooting cans with my father.

Yep me too. Started with an old .22 and always was taught trigger control and properly loading as well as safety skills and aiming at about 8 or so. Worked up to an AR15 now but I only carry my Glock since I'm in a carry state. Something very fishy went on that day. Alec had been using guns on movies for over 30 years before this. I wonder if the prop guy wanted the girl dead and used Alec as his stooge?
