Not only is there evidence that he was in immediate danger of being hit in the head with a skateboard and shot with a handgun, the evidence shows that he had amazing restraint and used the minimum necessary force to disarm his assailants.
He was hit with the skateboard. He was in danger of being hit AGAIN. He shot the fucker as he was raising the board up over his head for a devastating downward strike.

This whole thing is so absurd, sometimes I think I've been just viewing a nightmare for the last ten years or so. I'm waiting, any moment now, to wake up- and sanity will be there. There would be no need to try a man who was BEING CHASED BY A MOB OF ARSONISTS BECAUSE HE FOILED THEIR PLANS TO BURN DOWN A FUCKING BUILDING, tripped in the road and shot his pursuers. Fuck, in a sane world, those riots wouldn't even have been happening. In a sane world, that nigger who got himself shot seven times SHOULD HAVE BEEN SERVING HIS 31 YEARS OF PRISON TIME the night that the event happened. Fucker was 27 years old, and convicted/sentenced to a total of 31 years.... so what the hell was he doing outside of fucking prison?!
When I become President, I'm going to make a law called "The Menace Statute". It will lay out guidelines for what a "menace to society" is. It would be things like- being convicted of ten felonies, physically harming someone more than once, etc.. If you are deemed a menace based on the guidelines, you don't get a prison sentence- you get a choice of how to be executed: firing squad, hanging, or the chair. No lethal injections for people who inflicted pain on others. Why should they get the mercy of a painless, easy death if they, say, stabbed someone? They will call this "draconian" when I roll it out...
But watch the crime rate plummet when all of the career criminals start dying off. Watch how niggers will start behaving the way they did pre-civil rights movement; still niggers, but far more tolerable because they are forced to behave like... human beings.
I'm so sick of this clown world bullshit. Please, somebody wake me up, I am probably late for work by now, I've been dreaming for so long....

That will work until the day you get political opponents, who want your salary / power. They'll gang together with other greedy people and expand the definition of menace to include something as generic "anyone denying nature". Since comets are rocks in space, they cannot be bloody. It would be unnatural to see a comet with blood, therefore, you would be breaking the law and would have to be executed.
After you choose between death by firing squad, hanging or the chair, your opponents will take your place and then redefine "menace" to somehow match what their future political opponents are doing...
Giving the government power means you losing power over yourself.
