Dude people have thrown up systems more valuable than multi million dollar whatever. Linux runs on the majority of servers that run literally everything and it's opensource, postgres, mysql all sorts of stuff is open source thats a bigger market than control systems for farm equipment. Nobodies done it yet because no one has actually tried. Farmers aren't programmers and programmers don't know shit about farm equipment maybe that should change.
