I’m not promoting hope. Things could very well go as you say. I don’t deny reality. But part of not denying reality also means accepting there are still bright spots and chances for things to work out, and that things are never absolutely doomed. If that’s what you’re selling, which by your language, it is, then just roll over and die already, and get out of the way of the rest of us who intend to live.
