Sounds like a good movie script: Hard working crew complains about poor working conditions and not getting paid on time. Brave woman union boss goes to the rich pompous actor/producer and lobbies for better conditions. He laughs scornfully and tells her to fuck off. Fires the crew. Orders his toady to hire non-union workers. Woman union boss tells him he is a liberal cuck hypocrite while he is loading his prop gun with "blanks". He playfully points the gun at her and says "Say that to my face this time." She repeats. Gun fires. She falls to the floor. He acts surprised and claims it was all an accident that will haunt him forever. Small town sheriff investigates. Actor thinks sheriff is a racist red-neck too dumb to find the truth. Sheriff devises clever trap to get actor to admit he did it. Actor is led to gallows as sun sets.
Ending sucks, actor is widely known to have killed over union disputes, but beats the murder charge due to corruption.
Bittersweet ending where the guys reputation and career are destroyed, hes known as a perpetrator of a premeditated murderer, even though he beat the charges.
Small town sheriff, however, begins a great career as a committed thorn in the side of the establishment from then on.
A defective series starts, following the guy as he exposes the evil that lives among the elite, rarely dies he truly get his justice in the most traditional manner, by convicting the guilty, but he does get justice in more indirect ways, as I'm the story listed above.
The elites hate him, but cannot destroy him as he outsmart them every time, he becomes a bit of a hero to everybody except the elites and their cult like followers, a collection of absolute losers that were deluded onto calling themselves the rebellion while being the university and media indoctrinated goons doing unlawful dirty work for billionaires.
The series explores all manner of cases which are based on real events and highlight the issues the world is truly facing.
It's a very cynical show, giving full focus on how things actually work, rather than how things should work.
A show that tells the truth about everything going on today through its cases, cases that start way back in 1980 and come up to present day.
Far better than a cathartic ending of the bad guy getting what he deserves when your target audience knows that's not how things are working today.
Its like you are ignoring all the injustice that exists now by setting your show in a just world where your side wins in an unambiguous manner.
they keep saying preop gun implying its one that does not accept live ammunition but special cartridges for prop guns. but the article clearly says there was real ammo in there, he wasn't using a "prop gun"
visually the look the same, but they are not when handled.
Isn't there some procedure that was adopted, I think even into law, that came about after the death of Brandon Lee, in which there are a HUGE amount of redundancies to prevent a similar accident from happening again?
One thing I find odd is that there were live rounds on a fucking movie set- WHY!? Aren't prop guns supposed to be examined and signed off on by like at least 3 people before it can be used in a film shoot? That's how I would run it- one man would inspect the prop weapon, the prop ammunition, and sign off on it being safe to use on set. Then, a second man would perform the exact same inspection, sign off, and finally a third man does the same. Then it is delivered, by that third man, directly into the hands of the actor on set. This way, three people would have to fuck up in order for something like this to happen.
I thought lee put a gun that fired blanks to his temple and shot. The pressurized shock wave gave him a life ending concussion.
Red cap at end of gun
Ending sucks.
Buried up to his head in dirt honey poured over his head with a glass of water next to him.
Fade out.
