They probably bait and switch. Give you 6 months then after you forget about it they jack you up to $8 a week and make cancelling nearly impossible.
Jokes on them, I'll say their charge is unauthorized and fake news.
Most people wouldn't even notice the charge nowadays.
Tinder tried that shit with me. I tried to cancel my subscription a day before they charged my card and I couldn't, then I woke up with a $100+ charge and found out they did it at exactly 12:02am EST - 2 hours ahead of me. I use PayPal and was lucky enough to get a refund back about 2 weeks later. Piece of shit tinder can take my money immediately but take their sweet ass time to refund. Along with PayPal - I've had issues with them too, and the possible rumor is that purposely hold onto your money to collect interest - even it's only for 24hrs and they only earn pennies.
