I read a lot of his books to my sons, and I enjoyed them as well.

Yeah, but it doesn't play it up as a good thing. It just sets the background for the story.

Yeah, unfortunately more and more children can relate.

The way the kid set up a fish farm always stuck with me, might try if I can get some land with water on it.
