I read a lot of his books to my sons, and I enjoyed them as well.

It had an impact on me.... when he discovered the sparks from throwing it.. diving back into the plane... only read it once in 6th grade.

It's a wonderful book (especially for boys) and there's so many awesome ways to incorporate survivalism lessons while you read the book.
