Fascism is also state centralized power.

E g usa today which is also an authoritarian state.

You cannot have command controlled economies without totalitarian rule.

As you are using force to seize peoples stuff. Communism. Or using force to dictate how stuff is used. Fascism.

Fact is the war upon liberty is ancient and fascism granted zero immunity.

I don't think you are necessarily wrong on any count except maybe:

Fact is the war upon liberty is ancient and fascism granted zero immunity.

Liberty hasn't really existed until modern times. You can call primitive tribalism liberty but really it's just authoritarian patriarchy on a local scale. Liberty was a temporary respite, not at all par for the course and there is no new frontier upon which to start fresh. Call me Socrates and serve up the hemlock because democracy is a sham and the republic is dying.

Regarding the rest my criticism remains the same, it's easy to equate totalitarians from the outside but to a citizen of Wiemar there was a huge difference between the commies and fascists. The two groups spent years fighting each other in the streets and as much as you think you are above all that, the collective will of the suffering masses is going to drag us all down just the same. It's going to crush your high minded ideals and when you hit rock bottom you will have to pick a side.

Nobody wakes up and says "Hey you know what is great, making enormous personal sacrifices because liberty be dumb yo!" What commies and fascists have in common is they both wake up and say "Who or what can I empower, who or what must I fight and what can I sacrafice to put food on the table for my kids?" The difference is that commies are trying to reshape the societal mold to find prosperity they never had and fascists are traditionalists trying to hold the old broken mold together and reclaim prosperity they have known and lost.

It's a compass with fascism and communism to the North East and North West. The North is no stranger to the harshness of winter, on the North side of the compass weak men are made strong. By contrast you have libertarians and anarcho-commies to the South East and South West, they can only exist down south far from the harshness and strife of winter. There the hard men retire, their hard won prosperity giving way to weakness and vice until the next winter comes.

Uncentralized/loose power, while it can compete very well in some arenas (namely economic innovation and industry), is woefully poor on the modern international stage of 4th/5th gen warfare. It has no solutions for the organized pressure (communist) foreign powers can exert upon a country. In a world where we had to centralize and clandestine-ize bureaucracy to fight the cold war/tech war/spy war with the USSR and where we are about to fight another cold war with China that will eliminate personal freedom and broaden the surveillance state, it should be abundantly clear that freedom ends where strife and war begins.

You misunderstood my comment.

The war upon liberty is ancient. Which historically is why there has been very little liberty.

The equation for why is simple.

All wealth. That is all power. That is all ability to impact the world. Stems from people.

The more people you own the more power you have.

Democracy. Fascism. Communism. All are simply tools to expedite and ease the owning of people.

That's it.
