Well, the videos are like a minute long and don't show the whole yard so saying there's NO activity is a stretch. And I did see a container moving on a truck in the video from the high angle. Again, I think that's a robot, but it IS activity nonetheless. It isn't NO activity.
I agree it's weird, but I spent a good week moored near a MAERSK container yard overseas and aside from the trucks and cranes, there wasn't much going on. There usually aren't a lot of people walking around in container yards. Guys running the cranes, guys connecting the crane cables, and trucks. And again, short videos of parts of the yard.
According to Biden they are working 24/7. And one of the posts is from someone who works there but was told not to come in because there is no work.
Do you have any idea how big this port is or how busy it is on any given day? You don't have a clue.
Do you? Have any video of what a normal day looks like? Maybe something longer than a minute?
I stood four hour watch duty, multiple times, right next to a MAERSK shipyard, the largest in the Mediterranean, and it was NOT loaded with activity. It was cranes, small crews, and a few trucks moving. That was it.
