I just checked the live cam at Long Beach port -- and the activity does appear light. Hmmmm. Here's the link:

Of course it was planned a few years ago.

All self created, the morons are running the docks with 500 rules and emission standards.

“Traditionally the ports have been served by Owner Operators,” Oakley says, who are non-union. But under AB-5, “California has now banned Owner Operators.” Just like the union longshoremen, union truckers work under a whole host of work rules that simply can’t accommodate crisis conditions like the ones in Los Angeles.

to shut down semi tractor rigs that were non-compliant with new California emission standards. [snip] In effect, what this 2020 determination and settlement created was an inability of half the nation’s truckers from picking up anything from the Port of LA or Port of Long Beach. Virtually all private owner operator trucks and half of the fleet trucks that are used for moving containers across the nation were shut out.

In an effort to offset the problem, transportation companies started using compliant trucks (low emission) to take the products to the California state line, where they could be transferred to non-compliant trucks who cannot enter California.   However, the scale of the problem creates an immediate bottleneck that builds over time. It doesn’t matter if the ports start working 24/7, they are only going to end up with even more containers waiting on a limited amount of available trucks.

You know what makes me laugh so hard? They think they are going to outlaw gas cars and they can't even keep the power on now.

[–] 2 pts

Got news for you bud...they completely understand outlawing gas cars isn't doable, and, not only that....it's actually the reason they're doing it.

[–] 2 pts

You're missing the point, the purpose of the no gas cars initiative is to creat these problems. The happy talking points are so they can pretend it's a great thing.

I just came across an article about that because Oregon, Washington, California and Colorado have the same emissions for trucks or are implementing them so it’s going to fuck the whole west coast and the interior.

But “we’re ready for electric cars but the power grid isn’t” no shit. How can you want 80%-100% renewable energy and then have everyone get an electric car? It’s done on purpose by the politicians but the average liberal is a fucking moron and I’m tired of listening to their zero emission shit as they’re on their iPhone that just sailed across the ocean and the energy to produce it was coal.

produced by slave labor. They have suicide nets on the factories to keep the workers from jumping.

Don't forget the sheer fucking scale of earth-rape going on in China to mine rare-earth minerals for all of these electronics, one of the most environmentally unfriendly processes in the most environmentally unfriendly country. These dumb ficks haven't a clue, you're still polluting with electric products, it's just happening elsewhere

The liberals around here all think that the labor shortages are because of Covid deaths, I hear it constantly - no labor because unvaccinated people killed billions.

[–] 1 pt

According to the world health organization the total world wide deaths are 3.4 million people. That’s out of 8 billion people. Even if all those 3.4 mill died in america it would only be 1% poal did the math for me and it’s .044% so what is that. 1/12 of 1%?

lmao, msnbc contacted that young idiot millennial girl who said the same thing on Twitter and started it trending. MSNBC finally admitted most of the 600,000 deaths we 65+ and no longer in the workforce and she deleted her tweet.

Liberals need to be walked off and give all their ideas a try. Like CHAZ in Seattle. The started a farm in the park, they through cardboard down and potting soil on top and thought they could feed everyone lmao. When the city finally tore it down they claimed their “crops” were almost ready to harvest.

It looked like a bunch of kids tried to farm.

Great Zerohedge article. Thanks for linking it!

No problem, it’s posted in a different sub. I saw everyone guessing what the problem was, I hate when I have to guess and figure out why everything is messed up. I know it’s on purpose but how are they doing it.

Unfortunately the problem isn’t just California. Oregon, Washington and Colorado have implemented or are implementing the same emission policy for trucks as California. So the west coast docks which supply the nation are all screwed and they’ll have to bypass Colorado.

They want full electric fleets and full electric cars but the grid isn’t up to “standard” yet and it must be powered by zero emissions electricity.

Clown world.

The Feds use the Interstate Commerce Clause to enforce all kinds of horse shit upon states, seems it could be used in this case for the good health of the nation. Alas, the good health of the nation is the least thing wanted in a (((communist))) takeover.

I love those guys at ZeroHedge. Over the years they have dropped some gems.

Clown world indeed. Can't wait until they are all swept into the sea.......

People are getting fed up. Even those closer to the left on the West Coast. No way Trump lost CA. At least no way he lost the farming counties, Inland Empire and OC/San Diego.
