AFAIK, a general discharge is not an honorable discharge.

General Discharge is a "second tier" and lower form of discharge, so certain VA benefits are no longer available to the discharged servicemember.

general under honorable can be modified. and i bet when the fucking DoD sees how many separate rather than take that poison, there will be lots of mods soon.
