Did he have no underlying medical condition or was he one of those "perfectly healthy, haven't been to a doctor in 30 years" types?

Edit: Skimmed the article, there's a picture of him. Overweight, drinking liquor on the beach. Definitely one of those guys. Likely had high blood pressure, a little of the diabeetus, etc...

He looked overweight to me. Nothing in the article tells you what the autopsy showed

He was probably a couple of years out from his first heart attack and the clots just fucked him up.
