Dude, employer can ask and a business can ask. An employer can ask you to do a medical ffs. You have the right to refuse.

HIPPA prevented any business from asking any questions about your medical history. Just like they cant ask about your sexual preferences, political affiliations or financial associations.

No, you have that wrong. Your medical history is private and up to you to release it. They can ask, its up to you to answer or not. It's not illegal to ask. Ever do a medical at work?
