Not necessarily a bad thing. This makes way more people into anti-vaxxers which, while demonizing them, also normalizes the term. The trick is to popularize usage of the term with popular enough connotations that it becomes just a point of disagreement instead of a slur. Achieve that and they lose a word-weapon.
