This is such a weird overreach. What if we Google commonly known victims of trafficking rings like Cathy O'Brien (who you guys should all look up unironically)? What a weird thing to make a law over. Maybe what they mean is someone who's had that kind of content of them online. I know there's been cases before where people have been made to pay restitution to a victim in these kinds of cases. Maybe they're just wording things oddly to fit a headline.

overreach

You misspelled recruitment program.

Maybe they're just wording things oddly to fit a headline.

I think that is the case. This addresses (I think) look-ups before the event.

Bob Dobbs looks up info in little Timmy (Dobbs is a democrat pedo, of course) just before little Timmy is kidnapped, raped and murdered. Since Dobbs is a democrat pedo, the FBI need to know about the look-up so they can run interference for him.

I'm okay with this use of a John Doe warrant. The odds that you innkcently looked up a kidnapped girl just before she was kidnapped seems pretty freaking slim.

In fact, there are a number of Joh Doe search term warrants that I could think of that would also cast a very small net guaranteed to catch bad guys.

For example, those searching up shorting airline stocks the day before 9/11.
