It's about high ranking officers **being held accountable for when they fuck up and GET PEOPLE KILLED IN SITUATIONS THAT COULD'VE BEEN EASILY AVOIDED.** Any other job, you fuck up and get your co-workers or underlings **killed** in a situation where *you* are responsible for their safety, YOU GET FUCKING FIRED. But if you're a general, and you send 15 men and 1 woman to die in an alley, when they should've been miles away guarding Bagram AFB... you're untouchable.
