Another way to look at it is they are going to make all of us rich on the alt side of things.

I was noticing several months ago my wireless modem was getting hammered offline when I was on youtube, upvoting the conservative channels and downvoting the jew channels and the whitehouse channel. This afternoon it happened 5 times in succession, I just waited it out for the modem to reboot and pick up where I left off. I also got banned for a couple weeks about 4 months ago, and other times the home page would only show about a dozen channels and had to refresh the page every few minutes. It also seems that my downvotes get turned off, but I'd have to make note of which ones I did to be sure.

Not only your dislikes disappear and don't "stick", I also noticed that jewtube literally prevents your comments from showing if you post from non-kosher browsers like Waterfox (not sure about Brave though). I have to switch to Chromium whenever I want to shitpost, and it's getting annoying.

The comments not showing thing is your comments getting shadowbanned. You can see your own comment but nobody else can. Youtube uses AI to evaluate all comments to determine which comments to let through, possibly based on the detected sentiment. That is, comments that are deemed too negative. Additionally there are some wordfilters. Comments and chats with right wing memes like (((triple parentheses))) or having the phrase "clown world" will not be let through.

if there is a content creator of ANY kind of content. Wholesome or conservative, recommend or ask for them to mirror their stuff on odysee or rumble as a backup in case anything ever happens to youtube so that their followers can still find their videos.

the more regular content is over there the faster YT will loose money and be regarded as the default video platform. If myspace can die, so can YT. Just as fast online.
