Here’s a thought, truck as in everyday truck. Heard of a Ford F-150 or Silverado? Even you can own one and drive it anywhere. Especially if you are fat as shit and can’t walk more than 10 steps.

Yes, I get it was a pickup truck. My point is they were riding on the highway, where many vehicles travel at high speeds. They could have used a backroad where fewer vehicles travel at lower speeds. Also, there are these pllaces called tracks where are no vehicles whatsoever. Also, tracks are typically closed loops of some sort so you can ride as far as you want, with no risk of getting hit by a truck.
