I dated 2 "artsy" chicks like that - 1st one was a post grad rebound from my high school sweetheart - she was a messy "painter" - meaning she ruined the shit out of the living room carpet in our very 1st apartment (for the both of us) so I didn't get my security deposit back AND they sent me a bill for replacing the carpet and repainting - and my credit got burned - then the 2nd one was a hippie kindergarten teacher who was 6 years older & she only showered 3 times a week (every other day or so) & didn't like shaving her bush and acted like a stupid valley girl when she was with her group of friends - "Like OMG Becky!" type shit. Plus her 2 kids (they were cool though).
