Doesn't this means ADE is confirmed?
No. The post title is misleading.
This is the difference between alpha (the first) and delta variants.
The delta variants unique feature is a change to the spike protein that let's it infect cells even better. So it replicates at a vastly higher rate than other variants. This creates huge viral loads.
Since this is a respiratory virus, it infects the mucosa and other skins cells in your nose/throat, replicating in safety away from your blood born immune system. What little interferons are out there isn't enough. That's why you can't immunize away respiratory viruses and that animals can carry it without being infected.
