I mean, TBH, we don't really know what God has in store for anyone.
I always like the "God is dead" Catholic viewpoint. But then I enjoyed entertaining the founding fathers' view of Deism - God as a grand Clockmaker. I really have found that the more 'dogma' there is to the religion, the less authentic it seems: live a simple life, be good to yourself and others, worship and praise often, do good things.
