We didn’t get a choice of Covid being on death certificate by hospital. My dad had little symptoms, still working his winter garden last January after testing positive. On day 10 after being tested the nurse cleared him of Covid. 3 days later he was having trouble breathing and went for X-ray. Diagnosed with pneumonia and sent home with antibiotics and o2o. Next day went to ER and admitted. No icu room avail. 2 days on cpap and not allow to see him. He looked great on FaceTime and he was paying bills online. Next morning hospital called icu had a room opened up and they put him on a vent within 30 mins. We had 20 sec speaker call with nurse pushing us saying he’s given consent. He passed away 48 hrs later.
My mom applied for that FEMA money and got 7k since the hospital put Covid on death certificate
No way any of this is okay
murdered by ventilator (most likely the sedative drugs) for $40k. i also know a person this happened to. the only "covid" death i know of. sorry for your loss.
Is op wrong with the numbers or why didn't you get at least $9000?
My mom applied the first day they took applications. FEMA only reimburse for actual funeral cost. They didn’t pay for the headstone because my mom got one that was a double that she can add her name to in the future.
