But power cell types? There's only so much energy you can keep in something like that.
A better solution would be giant flywheel generators that would keep spinning if there was ever a power outage, then go full spin when the sun comes out or whatever.
Also a closed form of hydro where they pump water uphill into a pond, then let it fall back down to harvest the power.
