We have tons of raw foods a lot of it gets processed and packaged in china and shipped back. All that farm equipment when it breaks down wont be easy to repair without replacement parts. the first 5 years would be cataclysmic as every single supply chain got re organized and it's more likely civil or revolutionary war would occur first with many years of subsistence living.
It takes a month to get a machine shop installed and roughly 6 months to train a workforce.

what are you even talking about all those machines come from china. I know because i own some. They couldnt ramp up manufacturing paper masks in 2 years.
I know where there is a full machine shop in Alabama capable of any part you want
The guy who ran it for 70 years died and the machines are sitting idle with dust.
It sucks for you though I guess.
I hope America collapses and starves. It will not effect my family at all
