If a person has chest pain and goes in, and a covid test is given routinely upon admission, and 50% of people are already positive and don't know it, then that's really bad news. Covid spreads fast and some people are asymptomatic spreaders. If this is true, then we have many more cases than we know about.

Isn’t that a good thing? Then that means the mortality rate is way lower than we suspect, right? And never in history has a virus spreading through healthy people been a bad thing. Most mutations are less deadly. That’s why isolating healthy people was one of the stupidest fucking things we could ever do.

(b) do not want to wear masks
and
(c) are more heavily obese than any other part of the country
which
(d) leads to diabetes
So people who tend to vote Republican also tend to have worse outcomes from covid infections.
