most of those calls are people pretending that their kids ate a tube of the veterinarian ivermectin, in order to see what poison control will tell them to do. theyre seeing if poison control will instruct them to call e911 or just chillax and drink some water. when poison control tells them to just stay home unless/until they get blurry vision or something, then the people feel safer ingesting it in the event they get covid the calls are not for people who have actually swallowed a whole tube of the stuff and are therefore actually poisoned
