Well it sounds like you may be a lodge member (I am not), so you would know that each individual does use the connections available to his discretion. You probably also know that above the grand master there are more levels that the lower degree members are not aware of until after graduation. So saying that lower level members have little impact on society means little to me when I can see higher level members pulling social experiments to move the conciousness in society to different places all the time with my own eyes.

I am not saying Freemasons aren't an evil organization. They are part of the brotherhood of death described by Cooper in his book Behold a Pale Horse. What I am saying is the guys in the lodge down the street from your house don't really know about the organization above them. They think the entire organization is benevolent. It is, to a certain point up the ladder, then the real guys in charge are indeed piddling kids and constructing methods of achieving more power and influence.

**So what are the fundraising efforts usually for? ** Are they fundraising to pay the mortgage and utilities? I doubt t it. Most of those buildings are old and should be paid off, and probably got built with a discounted rate in the first place. I'm sure some lodges even figure out ways to produce their own electricity and water.

Dude you really need to pick your battles
