Not to say what's happening isn't a scam, but until a couple days go by without updating, you should take the online status with a grain of salt. Often it will update several days after the fact, or not at all.

Fair enough, definitely grounds for suspicion of treachery. When I used PayPal, I always funded the purchase off my credit card, so I could do a charge back if necessary because Visa has to pretend to care. I'm guessing you didn't, or the 90 day period has passed?
Actually just got my credit from PP I had filed a dispute that I couldn't reach the guy and didn't get my item. Just checked. My money is back. Too bad too. I wanted the thing. I drive a school bus in Jew York where this is idiocy is mandatory. Would've loved to have this thing
