They'll keep adjusting the narrative no matter what, going as far as saying it's always been the same narrative since day1, basically implying you didn't understand correctly...
Even when vaccines will be proven mostly harmful and useless against covid19 they'll come up with yet another justification, such as "Still better than nothing at all!"

In sick and twisted way the leaky nature of the vaccine helps their power grab. If covid vaccines had sterilizing immunity then their only argument would be that you should take it for your own good, or maybe for the good of those who can't receive the vaccine. With a leaky vaccine their justification is that the unvaccinated affect everyone, vaccinated or not. It's great for vaccine companies too as it evolves vaccine-resistant strains (delta variant) so they can keep selling vaccines.
Self perpetuating lie
And the pensions... Imagine the relief when you no longer have to pay them for decades, all over the west, or just don't have to pay them at all...
