Makes sense. The PCR test is cheaper so they went with that. Or maybe they went with it because it can be used to manipulate results.

Yeah, not sure to be honest, no doubt price was probably one of the main factors - and that it did speed up getting the result - aside that the result wasn't able to be 'diagnosed' for actual specific viral type or true severity, lol.
