Bullshit. You can teach yourself any language in about a year if you're diligent. You don't have to be perfect at it nor do you need stupid amounts of time to learn it - merely conversational is enough to learn the rest. Anyone can learn a language, you don't need any special skills - you learned your native language after all. I've got textbook resources for Hungarian and Polish if you're interested - and 1 textbook resource for Estonian. You can also search online for other shit. PM me if you're interested.
Yea, esp if you immerse yourself into the new environment you’ll learn quick. It’s funny that we have reasonably intelligent whites whining that they can’t learn Polish because it’s too hard yet we have low IQ shitskins learning English all the time because they need to.
If you have a patient native speaker (which even if you're learning outside of the country is possible - you're on the internet after all) and you ban yourself from speaking English with them once you know the basics, you can reach a pretty high level within even 6 months.
