In a sane world, arson on this scale would bring with it the death penalty.

Hang him . This special type of crimminal has weaponised fire, and ruined thousands of lives just in the last few years.

I have no doubt that after the recent fires in California we could put an initiative on the ballot to make arson resulting in death a capital offense in California. Even liberal California continues to vote for the death penalty every time it comes up.

Yet the governor has put a stop to executions

So a liberal faggot professor from Commiefornia torches several forests because of Orange Man whom he claims has NPD and prone to violence (per the first comment's link)? Seems rational and totally not projecting.

LOL. What a faggot. People like this are zealots about global warming. "DURRR SEE DA EARTH IS GETTIN TOO HAWT!!! WE MUST AKT NOW!"

Now I'm no rocket surgeon, but I'm seeing a pattern here. Something is up with left wing professors and teachers.

Communist much?

I think society has a fairly broad misconception of what it takes to be a "college professor".

To be frank - very little. You only need a master's degree and a willingness to work for near poverty wages. It's a fun and easy job. Just doesn't pay jack. So, the career choice doesn't attract the 'best and brightest'.

There are exceptions - a PhD tenured professor in a hard science or engineering can do very well - especially if they can pull in fat research grants from the military or private industry.

But, a lecturer* in a 'studies' department ... likely less than what a shift manager at Walmart makes.

*The title "lecturer" ... that's the equivalent of adding "junior" in front of the job title.

Can confirm, academia is about playing the game and not intellect. Having a PDH or Masters means you dotted the I's and crossed the T's, especially in libshit fields
