Of course corona is nothing. I wasn't there in 1914, but I can easily imagine that a war really is something that keeps you awake.
Not that I don’t disagree, but she was a one year old when it started. Not sure how much she would even comprehend at that age.

She would been 6 when WW1 ended and the war never made it to England. She was 26 when WW2 started and she most likely knew of or was related to friends and many who died as well as the constant air raids. I'm sure it misquoted. I can't remember much from before 8 or so, other than random things.
