But, I thought these things had to be carefully refrigerated - like 90 degrees below zero.
Heard about that logistics issue when they first started talking about it last Spring.
Now it's 90 degrees outside, and perfectly fine to just carry the vials around in the heat.
Got it.
I think they are refrigerated. The door knockers are just the talkers. I think if they convince someone to get the experimental gene therapy, they lead them to a canopy within walking distance setup by the health department where the chemicals are likely refrigerated presumably by generator. That's at least what I gleaned from watching one of the North Carolina news reports.
Thank you for the insight.
Makes a great deal more sense.
It isn't difficult to refrigerate stuff on-the-go these days, it's just energy intensive, and therefore expensive. And it takes a bit of fore-thought, or you'll fuck something up and end up with a batch of whatever out rotting in the sun.
Oh no we forgot to close the cooler, well Im sure its fine jab em anyways.
Not anymore. The Moderna brand is good for 30 days in a regular fridge now, and once the bottle is opened, it is good for 12 hours at room temperature. I am not sure about Pfizer and J&J.
