This saga calls into question whether jury pools are even rational enough in this day and age to decide the outcomes of cases. In any event, the mistrial is an embarrassment and an indictment of American culture.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd there (((it))) is. (((WesternJournal))) trying to delegitimize the 6th amendment. The precise opposite of what (((they're))) doing is reality. It's that diversity is the issue, judaism is the issue, not trial by jury.

Aren't jury trials by choice? If a defendant really felt that a jury wasn't rational enough, he could choose a normal bench trial.

Other way around. Jury trials are by default but can be waved.

That's got to hurt.
