I see boomer is your trigger word but when it is a cutoff for ~92% of the COVID-19 deaths is boomer and older, you have to say that they are going to be the ones that force the whole population to fight against mandatory vaccines. Pointing out that the most at risk population are going to be the driving force behind making the whole population submit to their medical demands is not hatred it is just basic fucking logic especially after 2 weeks to flatten the curve turned into a full year plus, with new variants looking to refresh our status. You take the non-boomer deaths, spread it out over 50 states and 18 months you get an average per month and state of 66 which is lower than infant mortality.

Millennials and Gen Z-ers are lining up for the jab where I work. It's a badge of honor for them during online meetings to brag about taking time off to get the jab. No questioning if this is a danger or not. I am surprised about how many people just followed the non-science.

I thought college enrollment was down for gen Z. Almost everyone I know with a kid(male) that’s gen Z has went into a trade and this is liberal Portland Oregon suburbs(but we have conservative pockets and we remain quiet). The girls are all going to nursing and Etsy shit.

What a bunch of clowns getting the shot even after the contractor didn’t. They sure talk it up outside though I bet. I would expect millennials males to drop their soy milkshakes and run to get a jab but not the Z’s.

I worked in federal law enforcement for awhile after the military because of connections and I don’t trust anyone anymore. I didn’t trust them after a month in the military and then gave it a chance on the outside, same shit just without a contract forcing you to stay against your will.

I'm 26, Never got a flu shot. And from the moment that I heard about adverse reactions from the vaccine, I was doubting the overall effectiveness of it. But with 'rona and the seasonal flu sharing many symptoms, It leads me to question if it is all a lie.

I’ve never gotten a flu shot either because I was actively discouraged from getting one. It was considered selfish in my country for young, healthy people to take flu shots as this could restrict supply of shots to those in at risk groups. But that was in the before times, way back in anno Domini 2019.

This is comparing apples and oranges. The real statistic you are interested in is the rate of clots MULTIPLIED by the risk of death from clots. It's not meaningful to compare the risk of death to the risk of a lower severity side effect.

This kind of shit makes us look stupid, and lets 'fact checking' sites cherry pick studies with bad conclusions to claim that there is no evidence for serious covid vaccine side effects.

Full disclosure: I'm fully vaccinated except for the COVID vaccine. Other vaccines have been around for decades, and are for diseases with obviously high risks. COVID on the other hand uses a novel functionality that has been around for less than a year. And, the side effect rate is high enough that I know multiple people who had to be hospitalized for it.
