30 years ago the gays claimed they just wanted to live in peace with another consenting adult. Looks like that's not so any longer.

A fallacy is just that. A logical error in perfect reasoning. Guess what? The universe does not abide by perfect reasoning.

Or at least around the time of the gay marriage thing that kept getting downvoted by the citizens of California until justice Roberts the apparent blackmailed child abuser made it law anyway.
And since SCOTUS said it is okay, that's the end of it, it is now the "law".
