It is less about defending them and more about the sentence not fitting the crime. Also for me it is the fact murders get off with less time.
How? She's already out of prison. Less than three years prison time for threatening a bunch of eight year olds with a shotgun sounds completely reasonable. What murderers are out on the streets less than three years later?

The part about the weapons is just what the niggers said happened according to the article. It also says the confrontation started after some groid threw a bottle.
