Cruciferous vegetables carry indoles. broccoli, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, collards, etc.

Chicory root is an insulin enriched oligosaccharide which feeds healthy gut flora.

Red meat carries l carbitine which is vital for mental health and joints.

Eat steak, broccoli, and chicory every day.

Many people don't understand the gut connection to a healthy brain.

Most of Serotonin is actually in the gut from what I've read.

And, diseases are caused by inflammation, whether in the brain or elsewhere, and gut health is crucial to lessening inflammation risk.

Yes, this is true 100%. Ask anyone who suffers from Crohn’s disease whether or not their mood effects their illness (and also the other way around).
