Disgusting. The term grooming is very appropriate. Sick adults using children for their own... I don't know what, but some kind of agenda that satisfies some desire for power. With laws to allow the state to take your children away if someone shoves them into this diagnosis, it seems terrifying.

Why do parents trust doctors to this degree?

ETA: my parents took me to a therapist for a while in grade school. Based on that experience, I would never do the same with my child or recommend it to anyone else. Therapists are looking for problems and even a kid in the single-digit age bracket can easily manipulate them because of that. Screw psychiatry, talk to your kid yourself.

She was hospitalized in February for out of the blue with anxiety and depression…

“Three days turned into 6 and they were trying to keep her longer…refusing us updates or anything,

After 6 days they can legally turn your kid into a ward of the state, and it's a nightmare to get them back. All it takes is a guidence counselor to send them there on b.s. they will start working on making the child a ward right away. Drug them up and bounce them to different places then bring them back to the original place for the DA to take a look at them. By that point the child is all doped up and disoriented, scared and beaten by other patients.

The DA will side with the hospital and parents wont have any clue this is happening until after the fact.

This doesn't happen everywhere but does especially around hard left districts.
