Wow! You mean to tell me that 10 years of unjustified occupation and hundreds of thousands of young American lives were WASTED by clowns who are more concerned about pregnancy jumpsuits for frontline soldiers and white rage?
As fucked as the occupation of the middle east was they are literally doing EVERY THING WRONG. They built up a "democratic" government in a region that didn't want it. Dividing the population and running constant propaganda fostering hate. They sponsored both sides during the occupation for intelligence and espionage so now both sides are armed, trained and hate each other. Now they rapidly withdraw support from the Frankenstein "democracy" causing a power vacuum. The other side armed and trained can now wage a 'holy war' to reclaim their land and kill the infidels.
I can go deeper on the failed military exploits but it is pointless. The "generals" and "officers" being shit out of west point are literally commie sympathizers. They spend just as much time studying womens impact on the frontline as they do basic war strategy.
We are so fucked if there is an actual happening. China and Russia are drooling when they see biden fumbling around struggling to read prepared statements ON INDEX CARDS. Say what you want about Trump but he had the balls to LEAD and IMPOSE on the world stage.

I'm surprised to learn that "the mission is accomplished", but then i must have misunderstood the mission and/or what constitutes accomplishment of it.
If the mission was affirmation of the undisputed fact that no forign force can occupy and maintain control in afghanistan for more than a few decades and only in a tiny fraction of this vast shithole of a country, then i guess it's accomplished.
It won't take the taliban 20 years to regain control of most of the country.. my guess is maybe a couple of years.
If some stupid notion that "democracy" is applicable everywhere results in elections, maybe they won't have to wait for two years, because the sorry sods inhabiting that place will vote them into power out of sheer hated of the former invaders.
