It is an overwhelmingly male phenomenon. It is the equivalent of a black person complaining about a white guy mugging them as if it was a white male “thing”. It ain’t. Males usually account for most of the sexual misconduct with prisoners, male or female. Males account for most workplace sexual misconduct because males have a more difficult time controlling their libido. This has always been true and it will always be true. Its basis is biology. Males have a greater predispostition toward promiscuity and violence. These are behaviors that compliment male survival and reproductive strategies more than female ones.
