If you followed the twatter feed down further, someone had posted the security/ police footage of that little fcker and his friend chasing after people to cut them up with their knives -the first adult male got away so they ambushed some other young kid coming out of a store after buying candy and stabbed him in the neck, when the cops showed up that little shit-head ran straight at them waving his knife. He got what he was asked for ....
So after your comment I did look down and saw what you were talking about. Trying to put myself in their shoes- if some nigglet had done the same and I'd seen it. Attacking another person, particularly a random person, with a knife means that you can be ended- irrespective of your age. Still doesn't feel good, but it colors the situation differently.
