I remember my ma telling me to never back down, and because I was a small kid, to pick something up and make the size even.
So eventually, in 6th grade when I did just that, and very well, she turned around 180 degrees and said "I DONT CARE, YOU DONT HIT PEOPLE!" Punished. So, that was that. She was full of shit the whole time.
