This isn’t a comment about Tulsa specifically, but lynchings were delivered via mob pretty indiscriminately in the South for a while. More whites were killed that way than blacks in terms of total numbers. The reason for people getting killed may have been racist I suppose, but the method wasn’t some super-special blacks only thing.

I see they are trying to change history again. For the past month the local news in Tulsa has been talking about the Tulsa Race Massacre Riot on a nightly basis. The city commissioned a private company to start digging up sections of the Oaklawn Cemetery to search for supposed mass graves. They found a few items and what were believed to be human remains in the first survey pass, which prompted city leaders to proceed in spending more tax dollars to continue the search.

Nice how she completely neglects to mention the black mob (what she calls 'several black men ' lol) showed up armed and that in the initial melee/ out break outside the court house after being told he wasn't going to be released, 10 white men were shot dead (in other stories two blacks), or that the black mob then scattered back into the black owned businesses (black wall street) and barricaded themselves in there and refused to come out - which seems the most likely and logical reason why the ensuing white response included lighting the buildings on fire to flush the fckers out ....
